GeoData provides specialist research and consultancy services to internal and external clients. GeoData provides IT development, support and training to a broad market sector including environment, health, development and planning and socio-economics.
We are seeking to appoint an Enterprise Fellow who will contribute to the successful delivery of enterprise and research infrastructure projects, working in close collaboration with the GeoData management and development team.
You will contribute to the team delivery of geospatial and environmental enterprise and research infrastructure developments, building relationships with project partners and external clients and funders. You will undertake leadership, management and engagement activities, contributing to the effective management and administration of GeoData activities.
You will have a computing or environmental qualification, with experience or qualifications in standards-based application development and geospatial data management. You must be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in the application of open source development and web mapping technologies within an enterprise or research infrastructure context.
You will have good organisational skills, project management and reporting experience and the role will require extensive liaison with clients. You should have good communication skills and a pragmatic approach to problem solving, with a strong attention to detail.
